A uniquely shaped variation of cow milk mozzarella, characterised by it's braid (trecce in Italian) formation. Mild and delicate in flavour. Best enjoyed fresh, as a centrepiece to your cheese board.

Food pairings:
Grilled figs, radicchio, pomegranate molasses, olives, cured meats, pesto, mediterranean vegetables, tomatoes, fresh basil, evoo, focaccia or grissini

Wine pairings:

  • White: Vermentino (light, crisp, citrusy, with saline notes to cut creaminess)
  • Red: Pinot Noir (light, fruity, low tannin to not overpower the cheese)
