Ricotta Festival 2026

Are you ready to celebrate? Thomastown’s much-loved Ricotta Festival is back! Now in its sixth instalment, this year promises to be our biggest yet.

Explore the Ricotta Festival

At the heart of it all is our legendary Ricotta Calda, made fresh and served warm at the festival. With over 35 stallholders, you can feast your way through Italy with spaghetti tossed in a 40kg Grana wheel, arancini, Sicilian charcoal BBQ, cannoli, tiramisù and much more. Be sure to explore our marketplace too, featuring local artisans, handcrafted goods and local producers.

Live Cooking Demonstrations

Sit and enjoy interactive demonstrations by our favourite chefs, as they whip up delicious creations featuring our Ricotta at the LaManna Cooking Demo Stage. Across the day, watch Melbourne’s culinary icons bring Italian flavours to life with live cooking demonstrations, from LaManna's Jason Shiong, Melanie Lionello, Pia Gava, and Dino Napoli from Trattoria Emilia.

Radio favourite Cameron Smith will be guiding you through the action.

Entertainment

The atmosphere doesn’t stop there! Sip on a spritz, vino or birra from the bar, while enjoying live music performances from Siesta Cartel, the Melbourne School of Tarantella Dancers and Solo Antico, with comedian James Liotta keeping the energy high.

And don't miss our inaugural Cannoli Eating Competition, presented by Bialetti.

Families can enjoy our dedicated Kids’ Zone, supported by Harcourts Rata & Co, featuring a petting zoo, play centre, face painting and the crowd-favourite Carlton FC footy van.
