Cheese made with care

KEEP IT LOCAL

As a proudly Australian-owned business, we know that the choices we make today help shape the world we pass on in future. For that reason our production starts with fresh milk sourced from local Victorian farms, located in West Gippsland.

The farm fresh milk is delivered to our Thomastown factory daily and transformed into our range of all natural, preservative free Italian-style cheese. Distributed fresh into local restaurants and retailers.

NOTHING WASTED

For generations, Italian cheesemakers have transformed whey into ricotta. At That's Amore, we continue this tradition.

Rather than treating whey — a natural by-product of cheesemaking — as waste, we use it as the basis for making our range of traditional whey ricotta products.

THE ROOTS OF RICHNESS

SOLAR POWERED

We’ve invested in renewable energy to reduce the environmental impact of making our cheese.

- 546 solar panels across our Thomastown manufacturing site
- 220,000+ kWh of clean energy generated annually
- 180+ tonnes of CO₂ avoided each year
That's the equivalent of removing 70 cars from the road or planting more than 5,200 trees annually.

This installation is more than just an upgrade, it is our commitment to sustainability. From the cheese we produce, to the energy we use, every step is guided to create a more responsible, climate conscious future.

100% recyclable packaging

Packaging plays an important role in protecting the quality and freshness of our preservative free cheeses.

We’re proud to source our tubs and packaging locally from Piber Plastics. Piber is working to reduce its environmental impact by producing recyclable packaging, reusing suitable production waste and generating solar power at its Melbourne manufacturing facility.

We’re proud that our tubs are:
- Australian-made
- BPA-free
- 100% recyclable

Choosing Australian-made packaging means supporting local manufacturing while building a more considered supply chain closer to home.
