An exceptionally quick and easy snack to rival the popular Greek dish, Saganaki. This uses our Buffalo Milk Caciotta for a salty, tangy flavour, amplified by a squeeze of lemon and good drizzle of Hot Chilli Honey for nice little kick!

Ingredients

200g That’s Amore Buffalo Caciotta, cut into 1.5cm-thick rounds

2 tsp olive oil

¼ cup plain flour

2 tbsp Hot Chilli Honey

½ baguette sliced in half

Fresh thyme leaves

Lemon wedges

Instructions

Step 1

Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat and fry the baguette slices for a few minutes, until they are golden brown. Remove and set aside on a plate.

Step 2

Dredge the caciotta slices in plain flour and dust off any excess. Pour a little more olive oil in the pan and fry and sear the caciotta slices for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and bubbling at the edges.

Step 3

Pour melted caciotta over the baguette slices, then drizzle with hot honey, scatter thyme, and serve with lemon wedges.

Serve immediately.
