Held at our cheesery in Thomastown, the festival bringstogether food lovers from across Victoria to experience the magic of ricotta. Over the years, the event has grown into oneof Melbourne’s most loved local festivals, showcasing authentic Italian communityand culture.
Guests can enjoy freshly made ricotta straight from thevat, delicious dishes from local chefs and food trucks, cooking demonstrations,live entertainment, and a vibrant marketplace filled with Italian-inspiredfood, wine, and handmade goods. It’s a fun, family-friendly event that capturesthe warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality.
Local Entertainment
Sip on a spritz, vino or birra from the bar as you soakup the music, dance along to the tarantella and enjoy the electric festivalatmosphere. Hosted by comedian James Liotta, expect laughs, crowd interactionand high-energy moments throughout the day. Enjoy live performances from SiestaCartel, Traditional Italian performances by Tarantella Melbourne and ClassicItalian favourites from Solo Antico. And for the first time ever, don’t missour inaugural Cannoli Eating Competition, proudly presented by BialettiAustralia. It’s set to be sweet, competitive and full of fun.
The Local Marketplace
Our much-loved Local Marketplace is back and bigger thanever. Wander, taste and shop your way through a curated selection of sweettreats including tiramisu, handmade biscuits and artisan honey. Discovergourmet pantry staples such as premium oils, antipasto and cured meats,alongside beautiful jewellery, fashion, candles and homewares. It’s the perfectplace to explore, indulge and take a little piece of the festival home withyou.
Cooking Demo Stage
Back by popular demand and now in its third year, our CookingDemo Stage promises a full day of live inspiration from some of theindustry’s most exciting talents. This year’s lineup includes MasterChefcontestant Pia Gava, Lamanna Melbourne Head Chef Jason Shiong, Trattoria EmiliaHead Chef Ferdinando Napoli, Qualified Nutritionist Melanie Lionello along withThat’s Amore Cheese owner, Giorgio Linguanti.
