The story of Burrata is deeply entwined with the story of our founder, Giorgio Linguanti, a Sicilian immigrant who arrived in Melbourne with little English but a hunger to learn and create a legacy. It began with one simple request. Owner Giorgio Linguanti turned to his head chef and said, “I want to write a book of burrata.
”Over the course of a year, this idea evolved into something far greater than we imagined. What followed was a year of recipe development, travel, photography, and storytelling that culminated in a book that celebrates not only celebrates burrata, but the essence of artisan cheese culture.
From farms to factories to kitchens Burrata is more than just a book, it is a tribute to the craft, people and to the endless joy it brings. Inside you’ll find delicious recipes, behind the scenes photos and personal stories that capture the essences of the sexiest cheese on the market.
