We’re proud to share an exciting sustainability milestone. We’ve just completed the installation of a second solar panel system at our Thomastown factory!
This latest upgrade includes 326 brand new panels, bringing our total to 546 solar panels now powering That’s Amore Cheese in Thomastown. With this expansion, we’re generating an impressive 220,890 kWh of clean solar energy annually.
What does that mean for the environment? We're now reducing over
180 tonnes of CO₂ emissions
every year. That’s the equivalent of removing
70 cars from the road
or planting more than
5,200 trees
annually.
This installation is more than just an upgrade, it is our commitment to sustainability. From the cheese we produce to the energy we use, every step of our process is guided to create a more responsible, climate conscious future for food production.
As a proudly Australian-owned business, we know that the choices we make today help shape the world we pass on tomorrow. Investing in renewable energy is one of the many ways we’re building a better, greener future.
A huge thank you to our trusted partners at Unified Energy Services helping bring this project to life.
