Buffalo ricotta is a fresh cheese produced from whey left over from the production of buffalo’s milk cheese. It is creamier and smoother than cow’s milk ricotta, with a white colour and a unique delicate sweet citrusy flavour.
Perfect for a more sophisticated recipe or on its own.
